BERTHA’s Fourth Steering Committee Convenes in Barcelona

The vibrant city of Barcelona recently hosted BERTHA‘s fourth Steering Committee meeting, bringing together all the partners to discuss its progress and future direction.
The event was held at Palau Macaya, hosted by Computer Vision Center (ES). All the other partners in the consortium were present, including the coordinator Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) (ES), Institut Vedecom (FR), Université Gustave Eiffel (FR), German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DE), Continental Engineering Services (FR), CIDAUT Foundation (ES), Austrian Institute of Technology (AT), Universitat de València (ES), Europcar International (FR), Capgemini Engineering (DE), FI Group (PT) and Smart Eye (SE).
Day 1: Comprehensive Review and Bilateral Meetings
During the first day of the meeting, participants delved into the status of various work packages, ensuring that all tasks are on track and aligned with the project’s goals. This comprehensive review was crucial for the upcoming mid-term review, a significant milestone in BERTHA’s journey.
In addition to the main agenda, the meeting provided ample space for bilateral discussions. These one-on-one meetings fostered deeper collaboration and allowed for the exchange of ideas and solutions tailored to specific challenges.

Day 2: Exploitation Session and Future Planning
The second day featured an exploitation session, focusing on how to maximize the impact and benefits of the BERTHA project’s outcomes. Additionally, details about the next meeting were shared, ensuring that all participants are well-prepared and aligned for future discussions and activities.
